Crop Production Statistics and the quality of the grain harvest 2016, advance information

• The total grain harvest in 2016, i.e. 3.5 billion kg, decreased by 4% from 2015 - the second smallest in the 2000s
• Barley accounts for half of Finland´s grain harvest - 1.6 billion kg
• The wheat harvest was 0.8 billion kilos, a year-on-year decrease of 18%
• The oats hasvest was 1 billion kg - decreased by 5%
• The final harvest information will be published on 23 February 2017.
