Description

The statistics illustrate the on-farm use of cereals by harvest year.

Content 

The statistics contain data on the use, purchase and stocks of cereals (wheat, barley, oats and rye) on farms in millions of kilos. Data is presented by harvest year.

Categories

Data is presented for the whole of Finland.

Data collection and sources

Data is collected using a sample survey of farms. Information is gathered by telephone interview as part of the Farm Survey in October/November.

Update frequency

The statistics are updated twice a year.

Preparation and publication schedule

The statistics are published in September and December.

Time series

Data is available from the 1920s onwards.
