- 73.5 million kilos of eggs were produced last year, which is 1% more than in previous year.
- The volumes of eggs produced by enriched cages declined (-3%) and organic eggs (+16%), while the volume of barn-type hen houses increased (+8%).
- 60% of eggs were produced in enriched cages, 34% in barn-type hen houses and 6% came from organic poultry farms.
