Foreign trade in roundwood and forest industry products, 7/ 2016 (preliminary)

- In July, forest industry products worth of €0.91 billion in total were exported from Finland.
- In January–July 2016, the real exports value of Finnish forest industry products was €6.72 billion (deflated using wholesale price index, 1949=100). In real terms, the exports of forest industry products increased 1 per cent from the previous year.
- In July, Finland’s wood imports were 0.83 million solid cubic metres (with bark). Since February, the monthly imports of wood has remained between 0.80–0.90 million cubic metres.
- In January–July, Finland’s wood imports totalled 5.77 million cubic metres. The volume of wood imports increased 4 per cent from the previous year. Despite of this, the volume of imports was 5 per cent below the average of the past five years.
- Finland’s wood exports totalled 0.58 million cubic metres in January–July.
