- In 2020, the total number of horticultural enterprises was 3,337
- Outdoor cultivation area was 19,861 hectares and greenhouse area 386 hectares.
- In terms of cultivation area, the most important outdoor vegetables were garden pea (5,352 ha), carrot (1,719 ha) and onion (1,221 ha).
- The total harvest of outdoor vegetables amounted to 185 million kilos, of which 81 million kilos were carrots.
- A harvest of berries was 18 million kilos. Strawberries accounted 15 million kilos.
- Apple production was 7 million kilos
- The amount of greenhouse vegetables produced was 101 million kilos, of which 54 million kilos were cucumber and 41 million kilos were tomatoes. Special tomatoes produced 6,1 million kilos.
- The cultivation area of ornamental plants in greenhouses totalled 115 hectares.
